cous cous abuse

bryan at AATM seems to feel that the cous cous found at the moroccan pavilion isn’t, well, isn’t up to his cous cous standards.

 WHA???????????

how can this be? why this cous cous abuse? i am no expert on moroccan food, but i must say – the cous cous found in the world, well, it is damn delectable. one might even call it DANG TASTY! the cous cous of my dreams one might say. i sought out this cous cous recipe. i have made it. when i make it, i cannot keep myself from devouring it within mere days of making a double batch.

I WAS, IN FACT, EATING COUS COUS FOR BREAKFAST WHEN I HEARD THESE VERY WORDS LEAVE BRYAN’S LIPS.

people, i ask you, nay, i IMPLORE you to put an end to this cous cous abuse. tell bryan – cous cous abuse is wrong, and we just won’t stand for it. cous cous is a terrible thing to abuse.

what movin’ up from the d-list is all about

about 6-ish months ago, i started this blog, right before MF07 actually. my disney geekitude had been growing and was nurtured by people like my BFF, the gentle guidance of the boys over at WDWToday and, of course, our first home, with dan! and eric over at MGW.

but i knew i was d-list people, i’m not afraid to say it. i’m way wayyyyy down on the disney community food chain. in fact, some might successfully argue that i would be LUCKY to reach d-list status at all.

don’t hate the playa, people, hate the game.

witness: TDC’s bursting forth into the world of disney podcasting - no more filler, boys, now WE are the show!!!!!! meooowww!!

witness: TDC’s appear on AATM podcast, and TDC’s plan to take over the enchantment portion of magic meets this july. i mean we’ve had so much success now that we are the mistress of enchantment and chaos (no capes) and are going to SWW. we may bring back a wookie.

sad news out of the DPN

the meandering mouse drops some sad knowledge at the DPN forums:

I regretfully must inform The DPN community and the rest of The Mickey Room Audience who frequents The DPN that Wayne has written me to tell me that he and Kimberley have decided to stop podcasting due to family concerns. Us podcasters especially understand that life gets in the way and becomes much more important than our shows. Even though I am sad to see these two wonderful personalities power off the mic, I am glad to have had them on The DPN roster, on my Ipod, and as part of The DPN family. It was great to see The Mickey Room out at BOTH Westfest events showing support. What a better way to go out than attending one heck of a party which was The DPN’s Westfest 2008.

My thoughts and prayers are with Wayne, Kimberley, and their entire family as they tend to their priorities. They will be missed.

Please know that TMR will always have a home on The DPN roster if they decide to return to the mic. I will move The Mickey Room forums off to a private location in a month or so after their audience has had the chance to say their goodbyes.

ug! i’ve been waiting and waiting to hear miss kimberly take to the airwaves (podwaves? webwaves?) again! the two of them made me laugh, but i loved miss kim’s slightly sassy texas girl persona – and meeting them at MF07 – another highlight! especially the ride on the speedway i got to take with gavin (kimberly may have broken the ride -KIDDING!)  well, miss you guys and especially my peach, kim – come back soon – the cats always need more girlfriends!!

ok, so i have been having just a little trauma over the awesomeness of being on AATM this week - combined with all the TDC hoopla, jonathon’s rockin’ promo (listen to the show! ), and especially the intros by jeff and mike (mike i have your email but not sure if i would be linking to the right spot so i left it blank in my current moment of excitement! apologies!!) - how do those guys do it every week? i mean they rival mike newell – sorry mike!

 

i mean i planned to rave and go on and on. but i just got home, was doing 12,000,000 things and desperately needing a nap after rowing this morning when i realized i got my june schedule in the mail finally. oh, and i am off the last week of june. come again – I AM OFF THE WEEK THAT JENNIFER AND THE WATCHAMACALLIT ARE GOING TO BE AT SWW!

 

SWW! THE SWW! i just booked my flight. got places to stay, won’t even need that top ramen hochberg mentioned. OMG!!!!!!!!!  can you tell i am excited? i don’t even have near enough t-shirts to wear!

 

now if i can just get my boyfriend to go…
